Every client and site contains a unique project, and my job as your architect is to listen. My goal is to work with you in a collaborative process to create nuanced modern architecture, in response to the way you want to live and which resonates with the best aspects of your particular site. I bring experience and thoughtful handling of proportion, space, light, materials, technology and climate to your project.

PITCH Architecture + Planning provides full architectural services for your project. This includes land use & shoreline planning, new construction and renovation design, interior design, consultant coordination, permitting, and construction observation. PITCH A+P utilizes a team of consultants where necessary, based on the complexity of the project, and we have a working relationship with many of the accomplished builders in the area.

For exceptional projects, PITCH A+P has assisted other architects with permitting and project coordination in San Juan County.

About

John Fleming, AIA

John is based on Orcas Island, and is a licensed architect in the states of Washington and Michigan. He also enjoys getting off the island, kayaking, sailing, or hiking with his family.

He has a Masters of Architecture with distinction from the University of Michigan, with continuing education in Australia and Nova Scotia; and a Bachelors of Engineering from the University of Colorado.
