Westsound Haven - Orcas Island

A compact retreat for an avid sailor. Overlooking their moorage, this project is designed to be a quick refuge and relaxing observation post. The low eave frames the view down the sound and protects from seasonal wind-driven rains; the high side balances daylight and orients views up the mountain behind. A crow’s nest is perched above for sunset views and doubles as guest accommodations.
